New practitioner Carolina Cuevas has joined Raleigh Rolfing and will be offering free sessions Wednesday and Thursdays in April. This is both to make it easier to try out her work and for her to get some ramp-up practice after a year work hiatus from moving etc.

Structural Integration

Carolina Cuevas, a native of Colombia, has been fascinated by the way the body works since a very young age. A Microbiologist by training, she obtained her Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) degree from The Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy, Cortiva Institute and her Certified Personal Trainer and Primary Group Exercise Instructor certification from the National Association Of Sport Medicine (NASM) Since her PA LMT graduation in 2012, Carolina has dedicated several years to study different modalities of Body Work, such as Orthopedic Clinical Massage, Myo-skeletal Alignment, Sport Massage and Cupping Therapy among others. She recently obtained her degree as a Certified Anatomy Trains Structural Integrator from the Anatomy Trains Structural Integration (ATSI) School in Maine under Thomas Myers, author of the Anatomy Trains Myofascial Meridians Book. Carolina obtained her NCBMT license in June 2023. Carolina has always had a holistic and educational approach to working with, rather than on the body, ensuring that the client understands and creates self- awareness of his or her own structure. In her free time, Carolina enjoys working out, dancing and traveling.
